Drawing journal consisting of “daily” sketches in order to see the influence of the hand outside of the mediation of the photographic/digital work.
Exploration of color to develop a personal color palette and the effects of color in the work.
Continued investigation of layering relationships through different uses of texture, source materials (photography based and non-photography based) printing and painting surfaces and mediums.
Final products
A series of drawings, paintings and layered mixed-media prints that expands on, and begins to solidly define, a personal visual language that has evolved throughout the course of the semester and that supports the theoretical concepts that the work is intending to represent.
